IMAAD was founded in 2007 by Jawad Khan in Bangalore, with a vision to redefine the art of oud and oriental fragrances. From humble beginnings, the brand quickly garnered acclaim for its unmatched quality and craftsmanship. In 2015, IMAAD established India’s largest oud and perfumery boutique—a sprawling 4,000 sq. ft. flagship store in Bangalore that set new benchmarks in the industry.
In 2017, IMAAD expanded its footprint with a flagship store in Colaba, Mumbai, catering to a discerning clientele, including visitors from the GCC. That same year marked the brand’s entry into the global market with the opening of its first GCC store in Dubai, UAE, further solidifying its position as a niche pioneer in oud and fine perfumery.
